clean. simple. minimal. however chic. and a little bit alien. Thierry Mugler AW10.
Think of the Thierry Mugler.
Think of old - space - inspired shapes, shapely ribbed wool black dresses, exaggerated hips belted in sculptural leather, leather skirts with split pleats and a Sixties allure, and silk dressing gown dresses belted in shiny narrow leather.
Think of hardcore attitude: softly tulip-shaped skirts under fitted jackets and high shiny ponytails that makes your look as a modern day Avenger.
Think of futuristic look made by spanish designer Rosemary Rodriguez.
I am interested what the new creative director of French fashion house Thierry Mugler Nicola Formichetti, who is replacing Rosemary Rodriguez, will show us next Fall/Winter 2011.
Formitchetti has "<...> been a god for successive generations in the fashion industry. He fused pop and high fashion, told a story in style and combined fantasy with reality." His "<...> approach is personal and always very eclectic." He likes "<...> to find new ways for a luxury brand such as Thierry Mugler to excite people."
